Remember, when I told you about the the tavern - the place where you can eat, drink and listen to live music in the marina? Here are a few pictures where the tavern is quiet and actually closed, because it's winter :)
The historic name for today's tavern is Morast Redoubt and it was built in 1770-74 as a protection of the harbour. It had a very advantageous position - on the headland of Solna Island and in fork of the river Parsęta and the Drzewny Canal. It's pentagonal and it has embrasures in the walls. It used to have a ditch filled with water, but since then it's been covered.

Pamiętacie, kiedy Wam powiedziałam o tawernie w marinie - miejscu , gdzie możecie zjeść, napić się i posłuchać muzyki na żywo? Oto kilka jej zdjęć w zimowej scenerii, choć jest teraz zamknięta.
Reduta Bagienna, bo taką historyczną nazwę posiada tawerna została wybudowana w latach 1770-1774 dla obrony portu. Miała bardzo dobra pozycję do tego celu - na cyplu Wyspy Solnej i w rozwidleniu rzeki Parsęty i Kanału Drzewnego. Ma kształt pięciokąta, a w ścianach znajdują się otwory strzelnicze. Kiedyś wokół reduty biegł rów z wodą, ale został on zasypany.
The gate weights over 600 kg. It was restored in 2013 and most of the elemets are original.

The stage, as you can see, is covered by folded benches. In the summer it will be filled by music.
