Granary
There are so many building sites in our city, but there are some demolitions too. First we had to say goodbye to hydroelectric power station and now to neogothic granary. Both of them were located at Rzeczna St.

Wiele jest placów budowy w naszym mieście, ale jest także kilka rozbiórek. Najpierw musieliśmy powiedzieć do widzenia elektrowni wodnej, a teraz neogotyckiemu spichlerzowi. Oba znajdowały się przy ulicy Rzecznej.

ReplyDeleteI tend to think the same thing- usually what replaces a building isn't anywhere as nice as what was there.

ReplyDeleteHow sad that a piece of history is lost with each demolition It's nice to have photos as reminders. I'm glad that New Zealand does a pretty good job at keeping historic places.
