All Saints Day 2020
All Saints Day is very important in Poland. It's a shame, that our Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki decided on Friday afternoon about closing cemeteries for three days. I don't even have pictures from this year. I've been to cemetery twice in October, but it was more about cleaning the gravestones. The picture was taken in 2014.

Dzień Wszystkich Świętych jest bardzo ważny w Polsce. Szkoda, że nasz premier Mateusz Morawiecki zdecydował w piątkowe popołudnie o zamknięciu cmentarzy na trzy dni. Byłam dwa razy na cmentarzu w październiku , ale to było bardziej po to żeby czyścić pomniki. Zdjęcie jest z 2014 roku.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of the Day of the Dead in Mexico, Klara. People visit cemeteries, light candles, offer flowers and dainties and remember the dear departed.
