Why is it sometimes worth being late for a bus ////// Dlaczego warto czasami spóźnić się na autobus

We stayed at a hotel in Ialyssos, a village about 8 km from the city of Rhodes. We went to Rhodes by a city bus, but unfortunately, we did not manage to return in the afternoon. The next bus was in half an hour to an hour. Of course, I do not like to wait, so I persuaded my husband to go to the next stops. We calculated the time, but what about how the next bus was too early and ... passed us along the way. We were going back on foot, but thanks to that we had the opportunity to see a nice piece of the coast.
On the seafront, neoclassical villas with palm trees still stand, as well as many hotels.
Beaches here are quite narrow with dark sand and stones. The vegetation spreads onto them sometimes.
At some distance, a marked pedestrian and bicycle route runs here, and the noise of cars is heard overhead.
We encountered wind- and kitesurfing clubs. Devotees of these sports have great conditions here to practice because it is the windiest part of western Rhodes.
In the afternoon sun, the trip turned out to be tiring for us (especially since we visited the city of Rhodes throughout the day), but it was worth it!
