Q for Quantity
There is just so many flowers in the Teatralny Park! It's a lovely and quiet place. Also I have question, do you possibly know what kind of flowers are those? I was clueless and quickly decided to go on a quest and search the internet, but I coudn't find the answer. I'll sure be grateful if someone could tell me what these beauties are:) Thank you.

DeleteWow, what a lot of beauty!
ReplyDeleteThe white flowers looks like anemone nemorosa, the yellows could be ranunculus repens, I think.
Thanks for joining in my Weekend Green. It opens every Friday in the morning, would be glad to see you back again.
Greetings from cold rainy Germany
Thank you for your answer. I think you and Tom are right. Looks like anemone, either sylvestris or nemorosa. And thank you for naming yellow ones. That's very helpful :-):-):-)
DeleteGorgeous, always a lovely sight in spring. Your flora questions already answered. I'll add that we call the white ones by their common name, wood anemones, and if seen in profusion it usually indicates an ancient woodland because they are slow spreading with creeping roots.
ReplyDeleteIt means that our park is ancient! It is quite old, I must say.
DeleteA lovely sight!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lady Fi.
