This looks like home, but warming temps are on the way!
ReplyDeleteYes, they are, but for the near future it means rain...
DeleteMuch too cold there for me. You did a great job capturing nature at her coldest.
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for the coldest.
DeleteThe water has not completely frozen over, so it doesn't seem to me to be THAT cold. (I grew up near Montreal, Quebec, but now I live in British Columbia where it is quite a bit warmer). I like the light, but I am even more drawn to those expressive tree branches.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. It wasn't THAT cold. I think it's around -5 Celsius (23F). Unfortunately year by year we get higher temperatures during winters. Last year we had a proper winter for one week (-15C=5F) with a little bit of snow! I remember times, when the Baltic Sea was frozen. And the worst part is that for a few years we haven't had snow for Christmas! :(
DeleteBrrrr....it looks cold outside there. In the 40's and raining here but soon we will have another snow storm to cover the landscape and the cold air will return until finally Spring will come.
ReplyDeleteWe've had the snow storm today, so I hope I'll take some nice pics tomorrow.
DeleteAbsolutely beautiful wintry photography ~ thanks,
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely week ~ ^_^
