L for Lighthouse
The lighthouse, which you can see in the picture, was built in 1945. But in Kolobrzeg, light has been used for navigation since 1666. Through centuries the lighhouse had various shapes and sizes and it was located at different places across the harbour.
The tower has 26m and the height of light is 34m above the sea level. Light range is sixteen sea miles.

Latarnia, którą widzicie na zdjęciu została zbudowana w 1945 r., ale w Kołobrzegu światło jako element nawigacyjny jest używane od 1666 r. Przez wieki latarnia miała kilka kształtów i rozmiarów oraz stała w różnych miejscach portu.
Wieża ma 26m, a wysokość światła to 34 m n.p.m.. Zasięg światła wynosi 16 mil morskich.

Lighthouses are often witnesses of history.
Delete...looks like a lighthouse with a fort around it.
