ReplyDeleteHave one in my garden but never knew it was called mountain ash
ReplyDeleteThe first autumn signs (japanese anemons in my garden) makes always me sad too. Even when summer not really had begun...
ReplyDeleteBut at least the autumn time often is nicer and longer than summer itself - let enjoy it!
We have them here as well, but haven't seen that yet.
ReplyDeleteI have a rowan at the front of my house, which we planted when we moved in. It is fully of red berries at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSeasons usually come when they should and we must trust the process I guess.
ReplyDeletewhat lovely colours in these berries! a glorious red.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is so messed up all over and I know have experienced the same feelings about missing some seasons. Maybe next year will be better :)
