... aurora borealis...

----------

So far, I have tried to catch the Northern Lights several times in my city of Kołobrzeg in the north of Poland. It's a rare occurrence here, but there were chances. But I've never been able to do that until Thursday night. It was an amazing night!

  1. These are beautiful. I am so, so jealous. I've been to Finland and Norway chasing Aurora and never got something like this. I also watch Tasmania for the Southern Aurora and missed it both visits....argh!!

  3. What stunning photographs. It's something I've always wanted to see, Sadly, even though they have been visible in my Country recently, I've not noticed anything. I guess it doesn't help living in a big city with light pollution.

    1. You have to leave a city for one night :0) It's totally dark on our beach during the night. And it's essential for observation of the Northern Lights.

  4. Wonderful color in those Northern Light photos. Many years ago saw a whole sky light up with them. What an impressive show.

    1. I saw Northern Lights a long time ago on Iceland. It's stunning. These were less impressive, but I am so happy to catch them in my city.
